Apples to Apples
In this article the Americans and the Pakistanis teamed up to go against Al Qaeda. Al Qaeda is destabilizing the Pakistanis and threaten American troops in Afghanistan. Che and the Cubans were just attacking other countries. So it is okay that the Pakistanis are fighting against Al Qaeda because they are destabilizing them. Americans are just trying to help because they threatened our troops. Che and the Cubans are not okay because they choose to start attacking other countries.

There is a purpose for every attack on another country. Even attacking purely out of world domination has a reason behind it. Che and his political followers may have had a reasonable reason for attempting to take over nations, possibly for their own good.
